BCU celebrates with the Hamilton community

CYM Hamilton is a devoted group of Ukrainian-Canadian patriots who helped to build their local community, teach our children and youth, foster growth, celebrate arts and culture, educate about our Ukrainian history, and protect and defend the values of liberty, freedom and dignity.

On Friday, September 27, 2019, at Leaning Posts Wines, over 70 people gathered to honour and thank all the men and women who not only founded but also helped grow the Hamilton branch of the Ukrainian Youth Association (CYM). In April of 2019, CYM Hamilton endured the loss of their home, the Ukrainian Cultural Centre on Kenilworth Ave N, but this challenge has only encouraged the organization and the greater community to grow closer and stronger, as they work together towards a bigger and brighter future.

BCU Financial has been a long-time supporter of the CYM Hamilton community. In honour of their 70^th anniversary, BCU Financial was proud to present a donation of $7,000 to the Ukrainian Youth Association – Hamilton Branch to continue with the community work.

На протязі 70ти років  осередок СУМ Гамільтон, являється відданою групою українсько-канадських патріотів, яка допомагає будувати нашу громаду, навчати наших дітей та молоді, відзначати мистецтво та культуру, навчати про нашу українську історію та захищати цінності свободи i гідності.

У п’ятницю, 27 вересня 2019 року, на приміщенні винзаводу Leasing Posts, зібралося понад 70 людей, щоб вшанувати та подякувати всім друзям, які не тільки заснували, але й допомогли виростити Гамільтонський осередок Спілки Української Молоді. У квітні 2019 року, СУМ Гамільтон змушений був пережити втрату своєї домівки – Українського Культурного Центру на проспекті Кенілворт, але цей виклик лише спонукав організацію, та українську громаду Гамільтону стати згуртованішою  та сильнішою  у спільній праці  для світлого майбутнього.

Кредитна Спілка BCU Financial є давнім прихильником громади СУМ Гамільтон і мала шану вручити пожертву в сумі $7,000 з нагоди 70-ліття.
