BCU Financial sponsored the VII Charitable Marathon “Children of Toronto to Children of Ukraine”

BCU Financial was a sponsor of the VII Charitable Marathon “Children of Toronto to Children of Ukraine,” which took place on May 28, 2022, in the Taras Shevchenko Ukrainian Community Centre in Toronto, ON.

Yana Koval, North Toronto Branch Manager, represented BCU Financial at this event, which united various community organizations and different generations in our diaspora. The audience was greeted by the organizers, Tatiana Sunak, the President of the Ukrainian Canadian School Board – Toronto Branch; Lyubov Slavatynska, the Head of the Fourth Wave International Organization of Ukrainian Communities, Nataliya Halych, the Principal of Nova Shkola and the Board Member of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress – Toronto branch; and Marusia Kostiw, the Director of the Taras Shevchenko Ukrainian Community Centre. The audience enjoyed the concert put on by our talented children and donated funds in support of summer camps for children of Ukrainian newcomers who just arrived in Canada. During these сhallenging times for Ukraine, BCU Financial is proud to support projects aimed at strengthening our identity and unity.
