BCU Financial staff and members of the Board of Directors took part in the Bloor West Village Toronto Ukrainian Festival

On September 16-18, 2022, BCU Financial staff and members of the Board of Directors participated in the Bloor West Village Toronto Ukrainian Festival! During this uneasy time for our Motherland, we proudly walked in the March of Solidarity together with many other community organizations to demonstrate our support to Ukraine and express our gratitude to all the partners who unite with us in our fight against the Russian aggressor!

Visitors of the BCU Financial tent had a chance to get acquainted with the posters about current events in Ukraine made by the Ukrainian artists; children made patriotic tattoos, took photos with Lys Mykyta, and wrote the cards to our defenders on the front lines in Ukraine. BCU Financial staff welcomed thousands of festival attendees and newcomers from Ukraine with special deposit rates in honor of BCU’s 70th Anniversary! As a sign of appreciation to our community, we distributed festive treats made by local Ukrainian bakers at The CakeSmith Inc.
