The Celebration of the 75th Anniversary of CYM in Hamilton

BCU Financial became the sponsor of the 75th anniversary celebration of the Ukrainian Youth Association of Canada (CYM) – Hamilton chapter. The festive banquet on the occasion of the anniversary took place on April 6, 2024, in the hall of the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Church in Hamilton with the participation of CYM members from various parts of Canada.

Guests had the pleasure of enjoying a banquet dinner and drinks, a raffle of prizes generously provided by the sponsors, and a performance by the Ukrainian Drama Theatre ‘Zahrava’ presented in Hamilton for the first time. The performance depicted the history of Ukraine from the era of Mazepa to contemporary times, vividly portraying the people’s struggles.

Ukrainian Youth Association (CYM) works to enable young Ukrainians from different countries to communicate with each other, help each other in the spiritual, mental, social, cultural, educational and physical spheres, and to discover their Ukrainian heritage, popularizing Ukrainian linguistic traditions and cultural activities.
