BCU sponsors Lesia Ukrainka Ukrainian School 2021 Matura Graduation in Ottawa

BCU Financial was a proud sponsor of the Lesia Ukrainka Ukrainian School 2021 virtual Matura Graduation in Ottawa.  Seven graduates from Lesia Ukrainka Ukrainian School completed their Ukrainian Language studies and were presented with a silver trident pendant – Ukraine’s national symbol – from BCU Financial to remind them of their Ukrainian heritage and their outstanding achievements in learning about Ukrainian language and culture. Long-time BCU employee and community leader, Marusia Medyk, greeted the students, teachers, and families during the virtual celebration.
BCU recognizes the importance of supporting Ukrainian language schools and programs as they establish meaningful connections within our Ukrainian-Canadian community for our youth and their families and teach younger generations about their Ukrainian history and traditions.
