The ensembles of the Ukrainian Youth Association – Toronto branch brightened this Christmas season with their talents

We are proud that our community has such wonderful talents!

BCU Financial was happy to sponsor the Christmas concert organized by the ensembles of the Ukrainian Youth Association – Toronto branch. The event took place on December 18, 2022, at Humber Valley United Church in Toronto.

The audience had a great opportunity to enjoy Ukrainian and English-language carols and Christmas songs performed by the Zhayvir Children’s Choir, Dibrova Women’s Choir, Crescendo choir (musical directors Olesia Konyk and Pavlo Fondera, concertmaster Oksana Skira), Kobzari bandurist group (leader Viktor Mishalov), Trio Skira Family, as well as Svitlana Kotliarenko (organ), Mira Solovianenko (soprano), soloists Emma Shostak, Vlada Fondera, Antonina Laskarzhevska, Georgy Belov.

The hosts of the concert were Marta Czurylowicz and Myron Konyk. Script and organization – Natalka Popovych. Administration – Iryna and Viktor Tymoshchuk, Halyna Vynnyk, Svitlana Maliy. Photos – Andrew Kabanets.

The proceeds from this charity event will go to the humanitarian aid programs for Ukraine.
