Together to the victory – our partnership with the Josyf Cardinal Slipyj Ukrainian Catholic School in Toronto, ON
15.06.22
Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, BCU Financial has been actively partnering with community organizations, schools, and businesses to raise funds for our brothers and sisters in Ukraine. One of the examples of such efforts has been our collaboration with the Josyf Cardinal Slipyj Ukrainian Catholic School in Toronto, ON. When the school requested us to support their Strength in Community campaign, we were happy to do that. The Silent Auction, organized by the Josyf Cardinal Slipyj Ukrainian Catholic School, raised $7,500 to support the Friends of Ukraine Defense Forces Fund (FUDFF). And BCU Financial matched this amount! As a result of this partnership, $15,000 was donated to the FUDFF. BCU Financial is thankful to the parent council, teachers, and students of the school for this great initiative. Together we are stronger!
In Ukraine, soldiers are risking their lives to maintain the security and sovereignty of their homeland. While they are on the front lines, we must strengthen them by responding to their most pressing needs. We should all be united in our fight for the freedom of our Motherland. To victory! Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Heroes!
